6 - Changing or Deleting Your Information
Unsubscribing from (Marketing) Communications
Users may choose to unsubscribe from our email alerts and marketing communications at any time. Every automated marketing email includes a clear opt-out link that allows Users to stop receiving such communications. This does not apply to emails that are essential for our services, such as notifications about your account, transactional emails, or communications necessary to announce giveaway winners.
Deleting Your Account
A request to delete your User account is distinct from unsubscribing from emails and marketing communications. To delete your account entirely from Ghit Media B.V., you must send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "delete account." Please note that account deletion may result in the permanent loss of access to the platform and associated data.
Retention of Data After Deletion
Upon receiving a request to delete your account, Ghit Media B.V. will:
- Delete Your Data: Most personal data will be deleted within 30 days of the request being processed.
- Retain Data for Legal Obligations: Certain data may be retained for the following purposes and durations:
